Judge Kim Yun Hee has served as a judge within the Korean judiciary since 2009. She has specialized in the Special Division for Criminals in Securities and Finances, Juvenile at Seoul Southern District Court. Her extensive experience includes presiding over a wide range of cases, including civil, administrative, and criminal trials.

Judge Kim Yun Hee has served as a judge within the Korean judiciary since 2009. She has specialized in the Special Division for Criminals in Securities and Finances, Juvenile at Seoul Southern District Court. Her extensive experience includes presiding over a wide range of cases, including civil, administrative, and criminal trials.

She has contributed as a co-author to the guidebook on criminal trials related to the capital market law for judges in South Korea, with the imminent publication of the book.

Her research interests primarily focus on comparing the capital market law of South Korea and Singapore, alongside the collection and analysis of case precedents regarding capital market law in Singapore. Judge Kim holds a BA from Yonsei University. She has also lectured newly appointed judges at the Judicial research and Training Institute on how to write civil court judgements. She is a member of the Korean judiciary’s delegation to the Standing International Forum of Commercial Courts (SIFoCC).
