Nathaniel Mangunsong is a doctoral student at the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia. He will do his dissertation research on the implementation of multiple voting shares (MVS) by founders in an Indonesian limited liability start-up company, including by way of listing at the Indonesian stock exchange. He plans to do comparative research in several countries that have earlier implemented MVS including Singapore, Hong Kong, and the United States.

Nathaniel received a Sarjana Hukum (Bachelor of Law) in Business Law from the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia in 2004 and a Master of Law (LLM) degree in Corporation Law from the New York University School of Law in 2008. He is a practising corporate lawyer with more than 17 years of experience and was formerly a General Counsel of Gojek and Ruangguru. He is a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI) and Capital Market Legal Consultants Association (HKHPM).
