Judge Nakazawa currently serves as a Judge of the Civil Division of Yokohama District Court.
He was appointed to Tokyo District Court in 2008. He served as an Assistant Judge of Tokyo District Court (2008-2011), Tokyo Family Court (2011-2015) and Aomori District Court Hachinohe Branch (2015-2018).
Judge Nakazawa received a B.A. from Keio University in 2007, an LL.M. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law in 2013.
