Leo is a a J.S.D. candidate at Stanford Law School. His research interests include comparative judicial systems, financial consumer protection, law and technology, and Chinese law and society. His ongoing projects include empirical and comparative studies that explore the institutional designs of courts and regulatory agencies, under the digital transformation, to deal with high-volume financial consumer disputes in China and the United States. Before pursuing the JSD, Leo obtained his JSM from Stanford, LLM from UPenn, and LLB from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
