In Residence
Allen is an Adjunct Research Fellow at the Centre for Banking & Finance Law (CBFL) at NUS Law. He graduated from the University of Oxford with a MSc in Law and Finance (Distinction) in 2022 and the National University of Singapore with an LLB (1st Class Honours) in 2018. He is a public servant on the Public Sector Leadership Programme and is currently posted to Allen is an Adjunct Research Fellow at the Centre for Banking & Finance Law (CBFL) at NUS Law. He graduated from the University of Oxford with a MSc in Law and Finance (Distinction) in 2022 and the National University of Singapore with an LLB (1st Class Honours) in 2018. He is a public servant on the Public Sector Leadership Programme and is currently posted to the National Security Coordination Secretariat, Prime Minister’s Office, as an assistant director where he looks at non-traditional systemic national security risks. Allen was formerly with the Land Transport Authority where he serves as lead counsel of the Disputes Resolution division and the Electric Vehicles Regulation team. Prior to joining the public sector, he was an associate with Baker & McKenzie.Wong & Leow, with a focus on financing transactions and financial technology. He is a member of the SAL Law Reform Committee and serves on its Subcommittee on Digital Identities.
Allen’s research interests are in digital identities, systems dynamics, critical services and infrastructure resiliency.
