Gabriel has been a Professor of Economic Law and Public Finance at the Faculty of Law, University of São Paulo (USP), Ribeirão Preto, Brazil, since 2016. He holds a PhD and an LL.M. from the University of São Paulo and has served as a Visiting Researcher at Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany. His primary work focuses on the fragmented legal framework governing sovereign debt restructurings. His main research interests include sovereign debt, government budgets, and the regulation of financial markets.
