Description

The adverse effects of climate change are being felt around the world. Extreme weather events ranging from floods to droughts are destroying lives, livelihoods and threatening to make parts of the world uninhabitable. The enormous challenges posed require a multi-disciplinary approach and bring significant financial implications, as demonstrated by COP 29 where the financing challenges are high on the agenda. This webinar, in the wake of COP 29, takes a predominantly Asian-Pacific perspective and highlights some of the public, private, policy, legal and regulatory angles to the discussion.
