Yaru graduated from the LLM (Corporate & Financial Services Law) programme at NUS Law as a Kwa Geok Choo Graduate Scholar, and was also the runner-up best oralist in the Red Cross International Humanitarian Law Moot during her LLB days. She is currently an associate in the Derivatives, Structured Products & Regulatory practice at Clifford Chance, Singapore. Yaru has an interest in the legal and regulatory challenges of tokenisation of assets across jurisdictions.
