That resume and cover letter that helped you land your internships — maybe something you put together on your own or polished with a quick chat with a senior — think it’s ready for training contract applications? Think again.

This workshop is designed for students who haven’t attended our previous sessions and have mostly figured out applications on their own (or with just a bit of informal advice). It’s also created with you in mind if you’re heading into internships this summer and gearing up to apply for training contracts in July.

We’ll break down what law firms are really looking for at this stage—and why what worked for internships might not cut it anymore. You’ll learn how to level up your resume and cover letter, tell a clear and convincing story about yourself, and show the commitment, clarity, and commercial awareness firms expect from future trainees.

Expect practical tips, real examples, and straightforward strategies to help your application stand out for the right reasons.
