Secured your Training Contract? – now what?
This interactive workshop is specially designed for law students preparing to transition from law school to practice. As you step into your role as a trainee, technical skills alone won’t be enough. This session will help you develop personal leadership skills, build confidence, and cultivate the mindset and workplace awareness needed to succeed as a trainee from Day One.
Through real-world scenarios, role-plays and guided reflection, you will:
- Gain clarity on the expectations (and realities) of life in a law firm
- Build confidence in communicating with partners and colleagues
- Learn practical habits that set high-performing trainees apart
This workshop is strongly recommended for students who have secured a training contract, as well as those who are in the process of applying for or seeking one.

Lorraine Lee

Founder of Indigo Coaching
Lorraine Lee, ICF-PCC certified Executive Coach, is the Founder of Indigo Coaching.
A dual UK and Singapore-qualified lawyer with more than 20 years’ track record, she started her career in law firm practice at Rajah & Tann and WongPartnership, before moving to Keppel and Hilton Hotels. In her last role, Lorraine was General Counsel & Chief Privacy Officer at International SOS, an MNC in 90 countries.
Approachable and relatable: When negotiations with customers and vendors were complex, Lorraine partnered with the Sales Team. Throughout her career, she’s been the bridge between business teams and stakeholders –bringing people together through, clear, empathetic and outcome-oriented communications.
Business impact: Whether aligning leaders, managing stakeholders, or navigating challenging conversations, Lorraine has seen the transformative power of effective communication. She views communication not just as a skill, but as a leadership advantage.
Cultural diversity: Having led and worked with multicultural teams across Asia Pacific, China, India, the Middle East, Europe, the US, and South America, Lorraine deeply understands how communication styles differ across cultures. She has designed and facilitated team sessions that celebrate these differences and build shared understanding.
Today, Lorraine follows her passion for coaching, supporting professionals who want to elevate their influence and presence through more authentic communication. She has trained in Voice Dialogue for six years, and holds a Master’s in Transformational Psychology from the Institute of Transformational Psychology, the Netherlands.
