Andrew Halpin presents at the Meeting on Basic Legal Position, Lisbon 15-16 September 2023

The first Meeting on Basic Legal Positions is a two-day seminar held between 15 and 16 September 2023,with speakers from both the common law and the civil law traditions and backgrounds in the legal domain and moral philosophy. It was the first event organised by the Research Forum on Basic Legal Positions- a joint venture formed by the Centre for Legal Theory of the National University of Singapore and the Lisbon Legal Theory from the University of Lisbon.

Professor Andrew Halpin presented his paper on, ‘Analytical, Normative, Aspirational: Connecting and Disconnecting Theoretical Approaches to Rights’ at the conference.
