Book Publication: Marsden and Gault on Collisions at Sea

Stephen GIRVIN, Marsden and Gault on Collisions at Sea 14th ed (Sweet & Maxwell, 2016)

CML is delighted to announce the publication of Professor Stephen Girvin’s Marsden and Gault on Collisions at Sea (14 ed) by Sweet & Maxwell. Written with Simon Gault, Steven Hazelwood, and others, Marsden and Gault on Collisions at Sea forms part of the highly respected British Shipping Law Series. The new edition contains substantial commentary on recent legislation and examines existing and recent case law and regulatory developments.

Professor Girvin was responsible for the chapters on Liability under Statute (Ch 8), Oil Pollution (Ch 10), The Rule as to Division of Loss (Ch 16), Limitation of Liability (Ch 18), and Criminal Liability (Ch 22).

Dr Steven Hazelwood, one of the general editors, is also an Academic Fellow with CML. He will be teaching Law of Marine Insurance at NUS Law this autumn (AY2016-2017) as a Visiting Professor.
