CML CMI Database Hits 2,500 Maritime Law Cases
July 29, 2024 | Research
The Centre for Maritime Law (CML) is pleased to announced that the CML CMI Database, Judicial Decisions on International Conventions, now contains over 2,500 maritime law decisions. According to Google Analytics, the database has helped just over 118,000 users from all around the world, in well over 160,000 individual sessions. We are pleased to share that our reach is truly international, with readers from every continent.
The CML CMI Database builds on the foundation laid by the late Francesco Berlingieri in an earlier database, and aims to make case decisions more accessible to the worldwide maritime community, in the hope that this will foster comparative research and uniformity of interpretation of international maritime law. CML is extremely grateful to Professor Paul Myburgh for his dedication to the Database as General Editor, and the initial support of Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) under the auspices of Singapore Maritime Institute (SMI) which has helped make this project such a success.
