Elizaveta obtained her LLB (cum laude) degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2012, and her LLM (Transnational and European Commercial Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution) degree (with distinction) from the International Hellenic University in 2013 and LLM (Maritime Law) degree (with distinction) from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2019. She was admitted to the Piraeus Bar in 2016 (with Hons during the written and oral exams for admission to the Bar) and practised as a trainee lawyer with International Law Firm I. K. Rokas and Partners, as a lawyer and later as an Associate Lawyer with Androulakis & Associates Law Firm and as an Associate Lawyer with Sikiaridis Law Office, assisting on maritime law, maritime insurance law, commercial law, criminal maritime law, economic criminal law, criminal and civil procedure law. Elizaveta was a Researcher with the World Maritime University (15 September 2022 to 14 September 2023). During that time, she participated in an IMO Project on fraudulent ship registries and fraudulent ship registration. Elizaveta is a PhD candidate at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Her thesis, currently under examination, examines the legal nature of shipwrecks using doctrinal and empirical methodologies.
