Marco is General Counsel at Rocktree USA LLC (www.rocktree.sg). He studied law in Bologna (Italy) and the UK and gained an LLM in Maritime Law from the National University of Singapore.
Marco is an experienced commodities and shipping solicitor and was formerly a litigation lawyer in London, Monaco, and Milan, focusing on shipping (including yachting) and commodities disputes. He has acted for a wide variety of clients on a full range of disputes, including the sale and purchase of ships, charterparties and bills of lading, pool agreements, the carriage of goods by sea and ship management, as well as collisions and piracy. Marco is also active in a full range of international trade and commodities matters on a wide range of hard commodities particularly oil, gas and coal. He is qualified to practice in the English courts and international arbitral proceedings.
