Edward Elgar Publishing has commissioned this research project. When published, it will consist of six-volumes. Professor Stephen Girvin (the general editor), is also the editor of the volumes on Carriage of Goods by Sea and Charterparties, and four other editors. Professor Özlem Gürses (KCL) is editor of the volume on Marine Insurance, Associate Professor Paul Myburgh (CML) is editor of the volume on Jurisdiction and Enforcement, Professor Karen N Scott (Canterbury) is the editor of the volume on the Law of the Sea, and Professor Mikis Tsimplis (City, Hong Kong), is the editor of the volume on Maritime Casualty law.
