{"id":10042,"date":"2025-04-02T11:24:33","date_gmt":"2025-04-02T03:24:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/law.nus.edu.sg\/ewbclb\/?page_id=10042"},"modified":"2025-04-03T13:59:55","modified_gmt":"2025-04-03T05:59:55","slug":"access-entering-singapore","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/law.nus.edu.sg\/ewbclb\/access-entering-singapore\/","title":{"rendered":"Access to Justice Entering Singapore"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/law.nus.edu.sg\/ewbclb\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2025\/04\/Image_Resized_pic1_compressed-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"Image_Resized_pic1_compressed\" itemprop=\"image\" height=\"1350\" width=\"2560\" title=\"Image_Resized_pic1_compressed\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\"  \/>\n\t<p>Please refer to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ica.gov.sg\/enter-transit-depart\/entering-singapore\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ICA website<\/a>\u00a0for the full entry requirements to Singapore.<\/p>\n<h2>\n\t\tIMMIGRATION REQUIREMENTS\n\t<\/h2>\n<p>To enter Singapore, travellers must meet the following immigration requirements:<\/p>\n<p><strong>i) Passport Validity<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have minimum 6-month passport validity if you are not a Singapore passport holder<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>ii) Visa<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Short term travellers holding a passport or travel document from a visa-required country\/region must\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ica.gov.sg\/enter-transit-depart\/entering-singapore\/visa_requirements\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">apply for a Visa<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Visa-required travellers can use the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ica.gov.sg\/enter-transit-depart\/entering-singapore\/visa-free-transit-facility\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Visa-Free Transit Facility<\/a>\u00a0for stay of less than 96 hours in Singapore, if eligible<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>iii) Security and Immigration Processes on Arrival<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure that you do not bring\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ica.gov.sg\/enter-transit-depart\/entering-singapore\/what-you-can-bring\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">prohibited items<\/a>\u00a0into Singapore<\/li>\n<li>Familiarise yourself with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ica.gov.sg\/enter-transit-depart\/at-our-checkpoints\/for-travellers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">immigration\/customs clearance procedures<\/a>,\u00a0including whether you are eligible for automated clearance<\/li>\n<li>Short-Term travellers should have sufficient cash and proof of onward travel (tickets, visas), and ensure that you do not stay beyond your visit pass validity. You may retrieve your e-Pass after arrival using the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ica.gov.sg\/eservicesandforms\/search-e-pass-record\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">e-Pass Enquiry Portal<\/a>\u00a0or check your visit pass validity using the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ica.gov.sg\/visit_pass_validity_tool\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">visit pass validity tool<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>\n\t\tSG ARRIVAL CARD (SGAC)\n\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>All travellers are required to submit the SG Arrival Card\u00a0<strong>within three (3) days<\/strong>\u00a0(including the day of arrival)\u00a0<strong>before arriving in Singapore<\/strong>, except:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Those transiting\/transferring through Singapore without seeking immigration clearance; and<\/li>\n<li>Singapore citizens, Permanent Residents and Long-Term Pass Holders entering via land checkpoints.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Submission of SGAC is Free<\/strong>\u00a0and can be done via the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ica.gov.sg\/eservicesandforms\/sgarrivalcard\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SGAC e-Service<\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ica.gov.sg\/public-education\/myica-mobile\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MyICA Mobile app<\/a>.
