What are the tax benefits for donating to NUS Law?<\/h5>\n\t\t\t<p>If you are a Singapore tax resident, your gift to NUS made during 1 January to 31 December 2022 is eligible for a tax deduction that is 2.5 times the gift value.<\/p>\n<p>When the tax deduction for the donation is more than your taxable income (for both individuals and companies) for the year, the donor is allowed to carry forward the unutilised deductions for a maximum of 5 years.<\/p>\n<p>Donors (companies) must satisfy the shareholding test as defined in the Income Tax Act of Singapore.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<h5 tabindex=\"0\">3. How can I make my donation to NUS Law?<\/h5>\n\t\t\t<p>You can make your donation online by selecting one of our <a href=\"https:\/\/law.nus.edu.sg\/giving\/make-a-gift\/online-giving\/\">Online Giving Options<\/a> (payment by credit card).
