Your gift can also provide young researchers with a springboard develop their ideas, establish their reputation within their field, and attract additional funding.<\/p>\n<h3>\n\t\tResearch Centres\n\t<\/h3>\n\t<p>The greatest law schools not only offer rigorous legal training, they also lead on important debates over law and policy. Research Centres bring together faculty members and distinguished visitors from around the world, offering additional opportunities to students and tangible benefits to business, government and the community. Donations to our Research Centre programmes will help us toward our goal of making Singapore a global legal centre.<\/p>\n<details>\n<summary><strong>Read more<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p>Support is needed for the following Centres:<\/p>\n<b><a href=\"https:\/\/law.nus.edu.sg\/apcel\/\">Asia Pacific Centre for Environmental Law (APCEL)<\/a><\/b><br \/>\n<b><a href=\"https:\/\/law.nus.edu.sg\/cals\/\">Centre for Asian Legal Studies (CALS)<\/a><\/b><br \/>\n<b><a href=\"https:\/\/law.nus.edu.sg\/cbfl\/\">Centre for Banking and Finance Law (CBFL)<\/a><\/b><br \/>\n<b><a href=\"https:\/\/cil.nus.edu.sg\/\">Centre for International Law (CIL)<\/a><\/b><br \/>\n<b><a href=\"https:\/\/law.nus.edu.sg\/clt\/\">Centre for Legal Theory (CLT)<\/a><\/b><br \/>\n<b><a href=\"https:\/\/law.nus.edu.sg\/cml\/\">Centre for Maritime Law (CML)<\/a><\/b><br \/>\n<b><a href=\"https:\/\/law.nus.edu.sg\/trail\/\">Centre for Technology, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence &amp; the Law<\/a><\/b>\n<p>These Centres are an integral part of our vision to develop NUS Law into a centre of excellence for legal education and research in Asia. Funding is required for all the Centres to help to cover:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>manpower costs for faculty, visiting faculty, research students, research and administrative support staff,<\/li>\n<li>research costs,<\/li>\n<li>costs of organising conferences, workshops and other events, and all related expenses,<\/li>\n<li>costs for infrastructure, equipment and software, and other central services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/details>\n<h3>\n\t\tFellowships\n\t<\/h3>\n\t<p>An endowed fellowship facilitates first-rate research and helps to promote the development of young outstanding academics.
