At the 10th Anniversary reunion of the Class of 1995 on 23 April 2005, the class raised funds to establish the ClThis fund will help support NUS Law's mooting activities and was made possible with a gift from the family of the late Mr Harry L. Wee. Students who are participating in Moots on their initiative may apply for the Mooting Fund.
The objective of the fund is to assist students who may otherwise not be able to participate in Moots without funding. Successful applicants may receive partial funding, typically around 50% of expenses, on a reimbursement basis. Students who demonstrate exceptional needy financial circumstances may be awarded additional funding (submission of supporting documents may be required). Priority will be given to students who have not previously received financial support to participate in moots and other international competitions. Conversely, students who have received support on multiple occasions from this fund can expect to be given low priority.
Applications for the fund will be processed in 4 batches per year. There are 4 application deadlines to which you may submit your applications - 1 Feb, 1 Apr, 1 June and 1 Nov. Applications should be submitted around 1 month before the Moot.
