Financial Assistance
Students who are selected for exchange may apply for the following financial assistance schemes.
If you are currently a scholarship holder, please ensure that you have sought the approval of your respective scholarship administrators for the concurrent holding of awards prior to application and/or acceptance of any offer. If you accept any award without seeking approval, the University reserves the right to withdraw this award from you if you are found not eligible to hold this award concurrently with your scholarship.

The Allen and Gledhill Exchange Grant is open to meritorious and financially needy NUS Law undergraduates who are Singapore citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents and are selected to go on Law Student Exchange or Exchange Plus programmes.
The quantum of each Grant may be between S$2,000 to S$5,000 for Student Exchange, and at upwards of $5000 for Exchange Plus depending on financial needs, exchange location and availability of funds.
Students selected to go on Law Student Exchange or Exchange Plus programmes will be invited to apply.
The NUS Law Canada Exchange Bursary is open to undergraduate NUS Law students who are Singapore citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents and are selected to go on law exchange programmes in universities in Canada.
One bursary award valued at $1,000 will be awarded per academic year. Recipient cannot concurrently hold the NUS Law UVic Exchange Scholarship.
Students selected to go on law exchange programmes in universities in Canada will be invited to apply.
The NUS Law China Exchange Grant is open to financially needy undergraduate NUS Law students who are Singapore citizens and are selected to go on law exchange programmes in universities in China.
One award valued at $2,500 will be awarded per academic year.
Students selected to go on law exchange programmes in universities in China will be invited to apply.
The NUS Law UVic Exchange Scholarship is open to undergraduate NUS Law students of all nationalities who are selected to go on law exchange programme in University of Victoria (UVic), Canada.
One scholarship award valued at $1,000 will be awarded per academic year. Recipient cannot concurrently hold the NUS Law Canada Exchange Bursary.
All students selected to go on law exchange programme to UVic are eligible and will be considered. No application is necessary and the recipient will be informed from August of the academic year of exchange.
