I ticked off things on my bucket list such as\u00a0bungee jumping, solo travelling and becoming fast friends\u00a0with people from all over the world. Meeting people from all\u00a0walks of life, from different cultures and with different\u00a0worldviews, shaped my values and allowed me to grow. My\u00a0advice: step outside your comfort zone. Do what scares\u00a0you. Be open to new experiences, meeting new people and\u00a0different ways of thinking.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<b>Clara Nah<\/b>\u200b<br \/>\nClass of 2021\u200b<br \/>\nVictoria University of Wellington\n\t<p><em>&#8220;Exchange at Washington DC opened my eyes to\u200b different cultures and perspectives. My classmates were all postgraduates and older than me, so classes were pretty intimidating for me at first. DC is also a food paradise &#8211; owing to the immigrant population, I managed to taste different cuisines like Salvadoran, Ethiopian, Mexican and Afghani. Students from all corners of the globe were once again converging on Lund as the world started to close a chapter on Covid-19. It was a great opportunity to build friendships of a lifetime. I also took the chance to do things uniquely possible in Scandinavia: study Swedish, see the Northern Lights, tour the Norwegian Fjords, and much else.
