Each session will survey some of the landmark decisions of the Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore (CCCS), examine the relevant legislative provisions applicable to the scrutinised conduct and explore the broader policy implications of these features of the Singapore competition law framework.

 Learning Objectives

This course aims to convey to its audience the following learning outcomes:

an understanding of the goals, characteristics and institutional setting of Singapore’s competition law framework;

an analytical framework for identifying and evaluating potential infringements of competition law prohibitions;

an awareness of the practical significance of competition law compliance to undertakings engaged in commercial transactions that prevent, restrict or distort competition in Singapore.

 Who Should Attend

Legal practitioners

Corporate counsel

Legal officers in government service

 Pre-requisites

A basic law degree.
