The exclusive licence is granted for the duration of the subsistence of the copyright, including any extensions and\/or renewals.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Electronic Posting\/Uploading\u00a0<\/strong>Prior to publication, authors may upload their accepted pieces to institutional, national, international and other repositories or archives, as well as personal web-pages prefaced with the words: &#8216;Forthcoming in the Singapore Journal of Legal Studies.&#8217; Upon publication, the uploaded piece should be prefaced with the words: &#8216;Published in the Singapore Journal of Legal Studies, [citation] and a link to the published piece on the website of the Singapore Journal of Legal Studies should be provided.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Publication Ethics and Publication Malpractice\u00a0<\/strong>The journal is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and to taking measures against publication malpractices. Authors submitting their works to the journal for publication as original articles, notes or reviews attest that the submitted works reflect their contributions and have not, in whole or in part, been copied or plagiarised from other works or been generated using large language model tools. Authors acknowledge that they have disclosed all and any actual or potential conflicts of interest with their work or partial benefits associated with it.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Indemnity for Liability <\/strong>Contributions\u00a0are accepted for publication on the condition that they do not infringe the copyright or any other rights of any third parties and that the work does not contain any obscene, offensive, defamatory, or racially prejudiced material and will not expose the publisher to any civil or criminal proceedings. Contributors agree to indemnify the editors and publisher for any liability whatsoever incurred as a result of publishing their contribution(s).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Creative Commons Licence <\/strong>All published submissions will be made available on the website of the Singapore Journal of Legal Studies pursuant to the terms of the Creative Commons license that permits use and distribution of the work, provided: the use is attributed, non-commercial, and the work is neither modified nor adapted, namely CC BY-NC-ND.
