What is Sexual Misconduct

NUS Code of Student Conduct states that sexual misconduct encompasses "a range of acts of a sexual nature committed against a person by force, intimidation, manipulation, coercion or without that person's Consent, or at a point when that person is incapable of giving Consent" (Refer to Appendix A, NUS Code of Student Conduct, available here). Such sexual misconduct not only constitutes a disciplinary offence at NUS but can often constitute a criminal offence punishable by the Singapore courts as well. More information can be found on the Sexual Assault Care Centre (SACC) website.
