Tran Huu Nghia (Nikola) is a Research Assistant at the Centre for Technology, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence & the Law, Faculty of Law, National University of Singapore. He received his B.Eng degree in Information Engineering and Media from the School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering at the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. He has a background in data science & artificial intelligence, with a focus on natural language processing and large language models. His research interests include computational approaches to legal and regulatory questions, as well as the broader legal, regulatory, and societal implications of emerging technologies. His recent work applies text mining techniques, including sentiment analysis, to analyze patterns in textual data related to social and economic behaviors.
