In 2025, Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization Daren Tang was the keynote speaker at the &#8220;Intellectual Property in the 21st Century: Challenges in the Next Decade&#8221; conference in Singapore, which was presented by Google, ByteDance and Baker McKenzie, in partnership with law research centres at Columbia, Oxford and Tsinghua.
