The annual report for TRAIL, titled “YEAR IN REVIEW 2025”, contains a write-up of the key conferences that TRAIL had organised in 2025 with its partner institutions, as well as highlights of publications by its academic fellows. In 2025, Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization Daren Tang was the keynote speaker at the “Intellectual Property in the 21st Century: Challenges in the Next Decade” conference in Singapore, which was presented by Google, ByteDance and Baker McKenzie, in partnership with law research centres at Columbia, Oxford and Tsinghua.
