Dr Elyse Methven is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, University of Technology Sydney. She researches in the fields of criminal law, and law and language. Elyse teaches Criminal Law and Procedure, Advanced Criminal Law, and Criminal Sentencing Law. She is currently completing projects on the composition of offending in Singapore, offensive language criminalisation, and on-the-spot fines for children.
