Ms Erica Stein acts as arbitrator in international commercial and investment arbitrations and is recognised as an expert for her broad work experience in all aspects of arbitral practice. Ms Stein currently serves as the Vice-Chair of the IBA Arbitration Committee. She is also the previous Co-Chair of the IBA Investment Arbitration Subcommittee and, prior to that, of the Guidelines and Rules Subcommittee. During her tenure of the latter, she led the IBA Task Force on the Revision of the 2014 Guidelines on Conflicts of Interest and the IBA Task Force on Privilege in International Arbitration.

Ms Stein is the co-author with Prof. Albert Jan van den Berg on the second edition of his seminal treatise on the New York Convention (forthcoming). Ms Stein has lectured on the New York Convention at both the MIDS (Geneva LL.M. in International Dispute Settlement) and NUS.  Ms Stein is on the ICSID Panel of Arbitrators, appointed by the President of the World Bank Group.
