Dr Matthew Secomb is a partner in White & Case’s Singapore office and heads the firm’s International Arbitration Group in the Asia Pacific. He focuses on energy-related and construction disputes. He has been involved in arbitrations under most of the major arbitral rules, as well as in ad hoc arbitrations. He also acts regularly as arbitrator (ICC, HKIAC, LCIA, SIAC etc). Matthew spent ten years in White & Case’s Paris office before moving to Singapore in 2015. Before joining White & Case, he was Counsel to the ICC Court of Arbitration (2001-2005).

Matthew is a member of the Paris bar (avocat), a solicitor-advocate in England & Wales and a barrister & solicitor in Victoria, Australia. He is fluent in English and French, and speaks conversational German.
