Xia Tang is currently a Ph.D. candidate in International Law at Xiamen University. Her thesis concerns legal issues of third party funding in international investment arbitration. Prior to her doctoral study, she had obtained LL.B. and LL.M from Henan University. Xia’s research interests include International Commercial Arbitration law and International Investment law. She has participated in the project “Legal Issues of the Mediation of Commercial Disputes” by the Chamber of Commerce funded by the Chinese National Philosophy and Social Science Fund Project. She has also published 4 academic articles at prestigious journals.
