CBFL alumni participated in the 21st ASLI Conference (29-30 May 2024) hosted by the Faculty of Law, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. Dr Petrina Tan convened a panel discussion on ‘Financial Regulation and Regulatory Design in Asia’ with panellists including CBFL alumni Dr Alex Zhou Qin (Macau University of Science and Technology) and Rachel Phang (Singapore Management University) who presented their papers on, ‘Financial Regulation in the Context of Financial Inclusion: Understanding the Logic of China’s Banking Wealth Management Regulation’ and ‘Consumer Protection and Retail Cryptocurrency Trading in Singapore’ respectively.
