CBFL Director Dora Neo attends the 40th Session of UNCITRAL Working Group I (Warehouse Receipts) in Vienna, Austria

CBFL Director, Assoc Prof Dora Neo, was invited by the Attorney-General’s Chambers of Singapore to attend the 40th Session of UNCITRAL Working Group I (Warehouse Receipts) in Vienna, Austria, from 25-29 Sept 2023 as an expert advisor on the Singapore delegation. During this session, UNCITRAL Working Group I deliberated on the draft model law that had been prepared by the UNIDROIT Working Group on a Model Law on Warehouse Receipts, which held meetings in Rome, Italy, between 2020 and 2023, of which Prof Neo was also a member.
