Christian Hofmann presented ‘Regulating non-bank financial intermediaries in Asia’

CBFL Exco Member Christian Hofmann gave a talk on Regulating non-bank financial intermediaries in Asia at the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong on 21 September 2016 and University of Hong Kong on 22 September. He touched on the risks posed by growing volume of assets and transactions held and executed by non-banks (often referred to as ‘other financial institutions’ or OFIs for short) and discussed potential adequate responses to such risks.
