Ivan Lee has recently been awarded his doctorate at Cambridge for his thesis on The Jurisdictional Origins of Extradition in Hong Kong, 1842-75. Ivan has presented aspects of his doctoral research, covering topics such as nineteenth-century piracy trials and ideas of territorial sovereignty, at conferences in Asia, Europe, and North America. He is currently working on revising his thesis for publication as a book.
