CML is delighted to have well known scholar and practitioner in marine insurance law, Dr Steven Hazelwood, to speak at our CML Seminar Series on 1 September 2016.

Begin with a brief introduction of the background of the UK insurance law, Dr. Hazelwood engaged the participants with a critical and though provoking take on the latest reform of the Insurance Act. His presentation truly provided a unique angle to value this long lasting reform in UK insurance law, reminding us that the issue of utmost good faith will continue to be a controversial one.

Dr Steven Hazelwood was in residence at CML from 8 Aug – 2 Sep ’16, teaching the intensive module, Law of Marine Insurance.
