Theme of Conference

The theme of the 8th APSN Conference is “Privacy, Confidence & Data Protection in the 21st Century”. This theme encourages the submission of papers covering contemporary issues relating to invasion of privacy, the breach of confidence action and data protection legislation. It welcomes a wide range of submissions for the parallel sessions, from theoretical papers that interrogate conceptual frameworks to practical analyses of personal data protection legislation such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and comparable national regulatory regimes.
