Virtual Roundtable #12 will be based on Dr Ernest Lim’s book “Sustainability and Corporate Mechanisms in Asia“. The Commentators will discuss the book’s analysis of why and how corporate mechanisms have been or can be used to promote sustainability in the four leading common law jurisdictions in Asia (Singapore, Hong Kong, India and Malaysia).

The Virtual Roundtables on Asian Law is an online series by the Centre for Asian Legal Studies (CALS). It brings together legal experts to share critical perspectives on topical issues on law in Asia. This series is open to academics, public officers, members of civil society, and legal practitioners from anywhere in the world who are interested in gaining deeper knowledge of Asian approaches to various legal issues.

This Roundtable is organised by the Centre for Asian Legal Studies (NUS Faculty of Law) in collaboration with EW Barker Centre for Law & Business (NUS Faculty of Law).
