Description

In this presentation on RMB Internationalisation we shall explore the politics, economics and mechanics of this widely discussed phenomenon, particularly in light of the more recent capital flight from China and long-term financial reform of the PRC economy. We will address settlement (payment) issues, drawing parallels to the situation of another major Asian currency, the JPY. Focus of the presentation and discussion will be on the demand of various external actors on holding RMB balances inside and outside of the PRC.
