Description

The presentation will discuss the consequences on the current IP landscape when Britain leaves the EU. What, in particular, will become of IP rights that cover – or are meant to cover – the entire EU? The issue has triggered debates not least with regard to the upcoming unitary patent system. Though much is under a haze right now that will only (hopefully!) lift once the negotiations about the terms of Brexit are taking shape, the legal options as well as the risks and benefits connected therewith are out for scrutiny.
