Lance is a Visiting Researcher at the EW Barker Centre for Law & Business at the Faculty of Law, National University of Singapore. He has published his prize-winning work in several leading international legal journals, including the University of Pennsylvania Asian Law Review and the Asian Journal of Comparative Law, and has been invited to present his scholarship at the University of Oxford, UNSW Law, Chinese University of Hong Kong, University of Monash, and University of Auckland. He was most recently invited to present his work on comparative corporate governance at the 2020 International Junior Faculty Forum organised by Stanford Law School. Lance graduated with a LL.B. from the National University of Singapore in 2013 where he was placed on the Dean’s List. He practises corporate law in the area of mergers & acquisitions and had served previously as a legal counsel at an international bank. His research interests include comparative corporate and commercial law, securities law and private international law.
