Timothy previously obtained his LLB (2014) from NUS as top first, after which he joined the faculty as an inaugural Sheridan Fellow. He then departed for graduate studies at the University of Oxford as a Clarendon Scholar, where he read for the BCL (2016), MPhil (2017), and he is currently writing up his DPhil. He has taught Commercial Remedies on the BCL, is a Graduate Mentor for the BCL at the Oxford Law Faculty, was Stipendiary Lecturer in Law at Merton College, and now a Graduate Prize Scholar at Merton.

Timothy’s primary research interests are in private law and commercial law. He also maintains a wider interest in the philosophy of private law. Because of the questions he answers in his DPhil, he is particularly interested in remedial questions.
