Overview

Globalisation and technological disruption are transforming the way organisations engage with legal issues. To gain a strategic edge, leaders must embrace change, equip themselves with the skills and knowledge to create the momentum for action and accelerate change within the organisation. NUS Law Academy can help you structure cohesive solutions that create value in your organisation. We can help you address critical legal challenges and opportunities affecting your organisation in the evolving global economy.

What We Can Do For You

NUS Law Academy will partner with you to design and deliver programmes that address specific needs in your organisation.

Each programme is led by a NUS faculty director whose subject-matter expertise aligns with your learning objectives and strategic goals. In addition to leveraging on our talented faculty, we can also draw faculty from the schools across the university and our network of top legal academics and practitioners from around the world.

NUS Law Academy’s custom programmes are designed in single or multi-module formats, and may feature workshops, blended or online learning. Most in-person programmes take place at the beautiful NUS Bukit Timah Campus located next to the Singapore Botanic Gardens, Singapore’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Our Bespoke Programmes

The NUS Law Academy partners with the NUS School of Continuing & Lifelong Learning (SCALE)-Global team and other organisations to organise bespoke law programmes for learners from around the world. The following are some bespoke programmes that NUS Law Academy, and its predecessor CLE, have had the privilege to create with various partners:

Launched in 2018, the GCCJ Programme is a collaboration between the Home Team Academy, Home Team School of Criminal Investigation and the National University of Singapore, with the support of the Attorney-General’s Chambers, to prepare senior Home Team officers for the future challenges of criminal investigations. Taught in partnership with AGC, the aim is to given them a better sense of what prosecutors, defence counsel, and judges look for in a criminal case.
