Abstract

Module 3: Sustainable Finance: A Corporate Perspective

In this final part of the short course Prof Esser will focus on the corporate dimension of sustainable finance. She will deal with corporate purpose, stakeholder integration and due diligence. This will entail a detailed discussion of the suggested approaches to ensure more sustainable companies including looking into directors’ duties, non-financial reporting, due diligence obligations and corporate purpose. We will also discuss corporate culture as a broader, overarching concept linked to purpose.
