Si Yi

Si Yi’s interests lie at the intersection of family justice, access to justice, and clinical legal education.  Her work draws on experience in legal practice and community partnerships to examine how legal processes and institutions can better support individuals navigating the justice system.

Her current areas of interest include children’s participation in family proceedings, supported decision-making, legal ethics, experiential legal education, and the design of legal services for underserved communities.  She is also interested in the relationship between legal institutions, professional practice, and access to justice.
