Joanna 

OSTAPIUK

Joanna Ostapiuk is a lawyer specializing in real estate law. She is a doctoral candidate at University of Warsaw, Poland. Her doctoral thesis relates to the concept of dimensional property ownership. During the Visiting Researcher Programme at NUS, she will focus on analysis of the strata title adopted in Singapore, under the supervision of Professor TEO Keang Sood. Joanna’s research interests include in particular the legal title to the real property, pre-emption rights, restrictions in ownership and similar rights, spatial planning and agricultural properties.

Moreover, Joanna Ostapiuk completed with honors a master degree in law at University of Warsaw in 2022. Joanna is also a graduate of the British Law Center at the University of Warsaw in cooperation with the University of Cambridge and postgraduate studies in Banking and Finance for Lawyers at the Warsaw School of Economics.
