Viktor is an Assistant and a PhD candidate at the Department of Legal Theory and Legal Doctrines at the Charles University, Faculty of Law in Prague, the Czech Republic. After graduation from that law school (Master 2018, Doctor of Law 2019), he had attended summer institute at the Yale University.

Besides his academic interest, he works as an Assistant to a Justice of the Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic. Viktor’s research is mainly focused on an epistemology of a judicial fact-finding and an evidence reasoning, especially on a role and a nature of truth and probability. Among other works, he published a monograph called Searching for Truth in Civil Procedure (Wolters Kluwer, 2020) and a chapter in an international collective monograph called Theories of Truth in Legal Fact-Finding (Springer, 2021).
