He previously trained and practiced in the Mergers & Acquisitions department of Drew & Napier LLC where he provided advice and assisted on a range of transactions, including venture capital investments, public takeovers, and restructurings.

Walter graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2019 with a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours). He is admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore. He previously trained and practiced in the Mergers & Acquisitions department of Drew & Napier LLC where he provided advice and assisted on a range of transactions, including venture capital investments, public takeovers, and restructurings.

Prior to joining the faculty, Walter carried out research with the EW Barker Centre for Law & Business where he focused on the regulation of Special Purpose Acquisition Companies.

Walter’s research interests lie primarily in corporate law, specifically financial regulation and corporate governance. He is also interested in how cutting-edge developments such as digital assets and how they interact with established doctrines in financial regulation and property law.
