Winona obtained her LLB from the University of Leeds in 2018, graduating with First Class Honours. She was awarded the Hughes Prize for her dissertation titled ‘Recognising the Deadlock in the Age of Criminal Responsibility Debate in England and Wales’.

Winona obtained her LLB from the University of Leeds in 2018, graduating with First Class Honours. She was awarded the Hughes Prize for her dissertation titled ‘Recognising the Deadlock in the Age of Criminal Responsibility Debate in England and Wales’.
In 2021, Winona joined the Centre for Asian Legal Studies (CALS) as a Research Assistant. Subsequently, in 2022, she joined the faculty as a Teaching Assistant for Evidence Law and Introduction to Legal Theory (ILT) at NUS.
Winona was appointed as a Sheridan Fellow in 2024 and primarily teaches Evidence Law.
Winona has a keen interest in the study of Law and Society, Neurolaw, Criminal Law, Medical Law and Ethics, and Feminist Legal Theory.
Before her time at NUS, Winona trained at WongPartnership LLP, where she worked on high-profile white collar criminal cases, as well as commercial and matrimonial matters.
