Abstract: This chapter deals with problems of title transfer when there is a contract of sale relating to goods in bulk. The Sale of Goods Act (UK and Singapore) has made provision for the buyer of goods in bulk to acquire a property interest in the bulk but it has not made changes to the title transfer provisions of the legislation so as to consider the position of a third party acquiring from a seller left in possession a competing interest in either the buyer’s share or the whole of the bulk.
